Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems runs a 4-year degree (Bachelor of Technology) programme namely B. Tech in Computer Science and Business Systems, which is under accreditation. The components of the Programme Educational Objectives are mentioned as follows providing graduates of the programme:
  1. To view computer frameworks as an integrated field of technologies and to engage in integrated design and to work with professionals in related fields over the range of framework design.
  2. Adapt to work with new/unknown environments, incorporate updated information, and solve complex problems.
  3. The programme should have proper context to pursue post-graduation and should maintain cordial connectivity with industry for societal impacts.
  4. The programme should be capable of catering professional as well as industrial world of practicing professionals for collaborations, mutual support, and presenting the profession to government and society.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
The PSOs of Computer Science and Business Systems programme supported by the curriculum are furnished in this section. The students should be able to do the following:
PSO1 Apply fundamental knowledge of theoretical computer science, computing, programming aptitude to identify and develop the computing systems for engineering and scientific applications.

PSO2 Analyze the design of computing system using algorithmic principles, Theory of computer Science, Basic science and mathematics in a way that demonstrates the construction of software systems of varying complexity.

PSO3 Prepare to work professionally in software industries, able to achieve the higher studies and develop the modern software / hardware tools following recent industry trends using Computational Statistics, Big Data Analytics, Design Thinking, Business Strategy, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, IoT, Operating Systems, Computer Network, Finance, Data Structure, Algorithms, and so on to communicate with the techniques & skills professionally & ethically toward engineering practices in multi-disciplinary domains maintaining affluent industry driven research based projects.

Program Outcomes (POs)
Students graduating from the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems at Netaji Subhash Engineering College (NSEC) are expected & prepared to exercise the skills and abilities marking as Programme Outcomes (refer PO1 to PO12). Graduates would demonstrate mastery of the mathematical & technological foundations along with the familiarity with the scientific foundations of Computer Science, Engineering, and managerial studies as follows:
